Arts center in Denmark to host special music series

The Denmark Arts Center (DAC) is holdings its After Dinner Music Series this summer.

Performances will be held outdoors in Bicentennial Park, which is across the street from the DAC. Cost for the performances is Pay-What-You-Can with a suggested donation of $10. It is strongly recommended for those who want to attend any performance to pre-register. The After Dinner Music Series is made possible by support from the Davis Family Foundation. Poster printing is often used to promote such a series.

This month, Luke Concannon, songwriter, and his wife Stephanie Hollenburg, a singer, will be on stage. They will be performing on Friday, July 16.

Next month Hanz Araki, an Irish musician, will take the stage. He is a whistle player, flautist, and singer, and winner of the Juno Award. He will be teaming with Bethany Waickman, the Jewel of the Adirondacks, and offering unique harmonies and rich drones during an evening of Celtic music. Their performance will be on Friday, August 6.

Also featured next month are Shark Martin and the Lazy River Riders. Shark Martin is a four-person band while the Lazy River Riders consists of Jeremy Holden, guitarist; Alex Ouellette, drummer; and Bobby Sheehan, guitarist. All are singers. Shark Martin will be performing on Friday, August 20 and Lazy River Riders on Friday, August 27. All performances begin at 7:00 pm.
