The Denmark Arts Center will be hosting camps for children of various ages this summer.
Local Print shops can help to promote such camps throughout a region with Flyers, Posters, and mailers.
The first will be a Beginning Art Camps for children from 7 to 10 years of age. Ms. Benish, a teacher and local artist, will be hosting a week of art making. There will be a wide range of materials from which students will be able to create multiple artworks. At the end of the camp, there will be an art show for friends and family. This camp will run from Wednesday, July 5 through Friday, July 7.
A Hoop Dance Camp will be held for those eight years of age and older. Nettie Gentempo, circus hula hooper and dance instructor, will lead the camp, teaching students how to make their own hula hoop, along with hula hoop choreography and tricks. There will be a special performance after the last day. This camp will run from Tuesday, July 11 through Friday, July 13.
The last July camp will be a Musical Theater Camp for children seven years of age and older. It will put together a fully staged production with costumes and music. Children will learn about singing, staging, character building, and movement. The camp will run from Monday, July 24 through Friday, July 28 with the performance on Saturday, July 29.
