The Denmark Arts Center will be holding several workshops in the upcoming months.
Local Print shops that engage in brochure printing can be helpful in providing more details about such workshops.
Ian Factor will be leading Drawing Workshops next month. These workshops will be a swift introduction to tonal and value drawing from daily observations. Among the topicsFactor will cover will be basic one- and two-point linear perspective, measuring and sighting, edges and atmosphere, and an overview of light and shadow relationships. Materials to be used will include charcoal and graphite and will be provided. These workshops will be on Tuesdays June 13 and 20 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm and will cost $120.
Also offered will be a workshop series called Sip n’ Clay. There will be a series for beginners and another for those who are more advanced. The beginners’ series will be from 5:30 to 7:30 pm on Tuesdays October 3, 10, 17, and 24 while the advanced series will be on Thursdays October 5, 12, 19, and 26. The cost for each is $100. Blick Art Materials and Laguna Clay are sponsoring these series.
The last workshop will be run by Micki Warner and will be on wreathmaking. The cost is $30 and will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, November 2.
