This weekend, Gaithersburg music lovers are invited to be entertained by an evening of Frederic Chopin's compositions interpreted by the accomplished concert pianist Brian Ganz.
The program, titled "Chopin the Virtuoso," promises an exploration of both familiar and less-known works under Ganz’s guidance. Ganz will share some insight and stories about Chopin, providing the audience with a deeper understanding of the composer's history and enduring legacy, still resonant nearly 175 years after his passing. Information about such shows can be shared using flyer printing.
Hailing from Maryland, Ganz is an award-winning concert pianist whose commitment to publicly performing the complete works of Chopin at Strathmore Hall has garnered widespread local and national recognition. His repertoire of prestigious international piano performances and events includes solo shows with orchestras such as St. Petersburg Philharmonic, the St. Louis Symphony, Baltimore Symphony, National Symphony, National Philharmonic, Taipei Philharmonic Orchestra, and the City of London Sinfonia.
The show will be held at Rothenberg Hall at PianoCraft, 221 Perry Parkway in Gaithersburg this Saturday, February 3, starting at 7:00 pm. Tickets are on sale for $55, which is classed as a donation. Due to Ganz's popularity (his show in Washington, D.C. yesterday was a sell-out) and the limited availability of tickets, prospective attendees are advised to secure theirs promptly, which can be done on sites like Eventbrite.
