SummerFest at Bohrer Park will be returning to Gaithersburg this month, aiming to ring in the warm weather with celebration and activities.
The festival will include live music from local artists. Visitors can sample local food and drink through food trucks and stalls from breweries. The event will culminate in a fireworks display with bursts of color and light going up to 500 feet high. There will be several viewing locations to watch the fireworks show, both in the park and around it.
SummerFest doesn’t end with the fireworks, however, as they will be followed by a SummerGlo After Party. LED lights and glow-in-the-dark outfits will illuminate the night with hoop artists, jugglers, stilt walkers, and other performers roaming the crowd. Light-up Apparel will be available for purchase. Vendors at festivals like this often use Promotional Products or sales to help attract attention.
In addition to the warm weather, this year’s edition of SummerFest will be celebrating the 250th anniversary of America’s independence. The event is hosted by the Gaithersburg Parks & Recreation Department. There will be family-friendly activities on site, as well as the nearby Miniature Golf Course and Water Park, which will be open exclusively to city residents and aquatics members.
The 2026 edition of SummerFest at Bohrer Park will take place on Saturday, June 27 in Gaithersburg at Summit Hill Farm.
