Farm-to-fork experience to be featured in Gaithersburg this fall
The area surrounding Gaithersburg is the source for a wide variety of produce and other fresh ingredients, and during a farm-to-table experience that will be on offer this fall, the public will have a chance to give some of them a try.
GrillMarX Steakhouse and Raw Bar’s Executive Chef Doug Kellner will be using an assortment of ingredients to prepare the dishes that will be included in Waredaca Farm and Brewery’s 2018 Farm to Table Dinner. Both meats and vegetables will be included in the menu, and the event is open to anyone who is 21 and over.
The guests at the event will not only be welcome to enjoy the meal, they will also be invited to be a part of a farm tour and meet some of the farmers and other producers that have an operation in Montgomery County. A variety of educational displays will also be set up so that the crowd can learn more about the area’s agricultural community and the role it plays in providing food security.
