Worcester to gain public feedback on citywide plan
The Worcester Now | Next Citywide Plan will be discussed at Public Visioning Workshops later this month.
There will be a public in-person event with a version online in early July, to be followed by several Listening Tour events. The schedule of such events and activities is often publicized throughout a city with poster printing.
These workshops will enable the residents of the community of Worcester to refine the key issues and focus of the planning stages, and enable them to share their hopes and visions for the future of the city. Those who attend these workshops will be able to become familiar with the trends and patterns in the city by means of graphics and maps that cover topics including transportation, housing, land use, and economic opportunity. The initial discoveries revealed from the Spring Citywide Survey held earlier this year will also be presented.
The Public Visioning Workshop will be held in person from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. at the Senior Center in Worcester on Thursday, June 23, while he virtual workshop will take place from 5:30 to 7:00 pm on Thursday, July 7. The Listening Tour events will take place during the months of July and August and provide more opportunities for members of the community to provide their feedback on topics relevant to them.
