A new chicken restaurant will be coming to Worcester this month.
Raising Cane's is opening its first location in Worcester. It is among the 14 new locations of the chain that are scheduled to open this month across the United States.
Raising Cane's will be on Lincoln Street and is occupying the space once held by Denny’s which closed in March of last year.
Raising Cane's has a simple menu that focuses on chicken fingers. Chicken fingers can be ordered as combos with crinkle cut fries, Texas toast, cole slaw a fountain drink, and Cane’s sauce, which is the signature condiment of the eatery; “Tailgates” with 25 to 100 chicken fingers for feeding crowds; and a chicken sandwich. Its two staple beverages are sweet tea and lemonade.
New eating establishments can benefit from flyer printing to promote their offerings and specialties.
Raising Cane's was founded by Todd Graves, along with his business partner Craig Silvey, in 1996. The legendary story is that Graces wrote the business plan for a chicken-finger-only restaurant as his college project at Louisiana State University (LSU) and got the lowest grade in the class because his professor said it would never work. He then went to work many grueling jobs to save up the money to open the first location near the LSU campus in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The chain is named after his Labrador Retriever, Raising Cane.
