Petricore, a local developer of video games, is now open in a new location in Worcester.
Alumni from what was once the gaming design program at Becker College established Petricore in 2015. The group is still in business eight years later and create augmented and virtual reality (VR) games for VR glasses and headsets.
Ryan Canuel, co-founder and CEO, said the new space enables the company to grow and take advantage of the many opportunities available in the world of gaming. He explained that it is exciting to create games in augmented reality as there are not that many other companies doing what his company is doing. He added that with this lack of competition it is possible to be the forefather of the industry which is what is of interest to his company.
Petricore has created gamified experiences and games for many well-known companies around the world, including the “Game of Games” show by Ellen DeGeneres. Petricore has also worked with Meta to develop a new game called “Mythic Realms.”
Such stores offer many opportunities for local Print shops to promote their new location in a different part of town. Creating different kinds of Corporate Gifts is one way to advertise a new store.
