Software company now considers Worcester home

ComputerVault has moved its headquarters to Worcester.

The company, which offers software to businesses that creates servers and virtual desktop with built-in cybersecurity, is now located inside One Mercantile, previously the headquarters of Unum. The company has leased close to 5,600 square feet of office space on the fifth floor for a period of eight years. Such moves often require the need to hire stationery printers as new letterheads and other corporate printed materials are usually needed.

Peo Nathan, CEO of ComputerVault, said that the company had looked at many other properties and other cities and decided that downtown Worcester was the ideal location for their headquarters. He said that the city of Worcester as well as the state has many graduating seniors and this will provide an opportunity for them to remain in the area and in the state.

Chip Norton, managing director of One Mercantile, expressed his pleasure in welcoming ComputerVault to Worcester. He said that he is certain the company will enjoy the downtown area and everything it offers and will also add value to the community. He added that the company’s commitment to Worcester for the next eight years is significant.

Nathan also noted that the company is expecting to hire about 50 new team members this year and needed the extra space to accommodate them. It currently employs about 400 people.
