The Gluten Free and Allergen Friendly Festival is coming to nearby Worcester next month for two days. It is presented by the Gluten Free Media Group.
The aim of the festival is to provide people with gluten sensitivities and allergies information on foods that are available for them, and advice on how to live more healthily.
Everyone who buys a ticket will receive a reusable goodie bag., and there will be plenty of food samples, moneysaving coupons, and product giveaways inside it. Over 100 vendors will also be on hand to sell their gluten and allergy-free products, or to provide information about their services to the public.
Guests will have the chance to meet authors, bloggers, and attend several classes. Topics of the classes will include information on converting recipes to be gluten-free and dairy-free, how essential oils may improve digestive wellness, and how to conduct effective gluten-free shopping.
Applications are still being accepted for volunteers from all over the area, including Marlborough. Volunteers will receive a T-shirt most likely provided by a local printing company.
The Gluten-Free and Allergen Friendly Festival will be held at the DCU Center in Worcester from July 23 to 24. Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for children between the ages of 3 and 12, while two-day passes are $25 or $7 and a family pass is $35. Call 630-473-3202 for more information.
