Food truck to open shop in Worcester

A brick-and-mortar restaurant will be opened by a popular food truck based in Worcester.

Ziggy Bombs, which offers gourmet and one-of-a-kind steak and cheese sandwiches, will be opening their restaurant and merchandise store in the space at 72-78 Franklin Street in downtown Worcester. This is across the street from the Worcester Common.

The space, which was once the home to Franklin Street Fare, will have a dining room and store for the selling of clothing. Customers will be able to order the signature Ziggy Bombs and be able to customize their own sandwiches. Ziggy Pop, the food truck’s own line of soda, will also be sold at the eatery.

Many printing services can be used to create Flyers and other materials promoting such businesses in new locations.

Mike Devish, owner and chef of Ziggy Bombs, said that he has been working on this effort over the past several weeks and now that the deal has been closed, he will be able to get started on this project. Devish added that he will be working as fast as he can to get the restaurant open as soon as possible.

Devish said he has been trying to find a permanent location for the food truck since it was opened in March. The truck can be visited from Tuesday until Saturday and offers a wide selection of unique sandwiches, as well as its well-known Pu Pu Platter.
