The Biomanufacturing Education and Training Center at Worcester Polytechnic Institute will be holding a Fundamentals of Biomanufacturing Training Program in March. This is an eight-week program that is fully funded.
The program will take place in the evenings from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm with classroom and hands-on instruction. The program offers a state-of-the-art laboratory and equipment and is taught by instructors who work in the industry.
Those interested in this program need to be at least 18 years old and a resident of Massachusetts. They need to have basic math skills and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. It is an ideal program for those who are looking for a career change and work during the day, may have been recently laid off, or want to broaden their skills.
Those who enroll in the program will be able to find rewarding career opportunities in a high-growth industry with long-term job prospects. Attendees will receive a stipend of $1,600 at the end of the training and have the potential to earn up to $25 per hour, with average starting salaries of $52,000 a year.
Brochure printing is often used to provide more details about such programs and their benefits.
The program is subsidized by a Massachusetts Life Sciences Pathmaker grant. This collaboration enables residents from Massachusetts to be fast-tracked into employment in the life sciences.
