The 45th annual Holiday Festival of Crafts, presented by the Worcester Center for Crafts, is taking place for three days at the end of the month.
This should be an ideal place for people to pick up original, handmade holiday gifts for friends and families. There are expected to be 60 artisans on hand at the festival who will be selling a variety of one-of-a-kind, items including pottery, fiber art, paintings, photographs, and glass creations. For a break from shopping, guests can also enjoy musical entertainment, hot cider and locally baked goods in the cafe.
The Worcester Center for Crafts provides craft education for people of all ages. It offers an online course, has a ceramics studio and a glass studio, and features a resident artists’ program. A number of events like the craft festival provide a chance for local artists to support themselves in their chosen profession and make a name for themselves in the community.
