A new satellite location of Nasuni, a provider of cloud services, will be opening in Marlborough.
Those working at this new location will be engineering teams supporting and complementing those who currently work out of the company’s headquarters in the Seaport District of Boston, and at the customer and engineering support offices in North Carolina’s Research Triangle Park.
Nasuni is looking to hire people for this new office in Marlborough as well as it its other locations. Those with experience in quality assurance, development, and software engineering, in addition to customer support, are sought after. Business card printing will most likely be needed by such individuals once they are hired.
The new location has a similar design to that of the headquarters in Boston, which is more open to encourage collaboration among employees. There is also a high-performance video conferencing system so that engineers can work with their colleagues in Boston and Durham, North Carolina.
CFO and COO of Nasuni, Scott Dussault, commented that there is a great deal of technical expertise in the Boston area, as well as a similar pool of information technology talent in the MetroWest area, meaning the new office will be able to draw and attract talented people who want to work in the tech sector but prefer not to commute into the city.
