The annual Main Street Trick or Treat and Horribles Parade will be coming to Marlborough later this month.
Hosted by the businesses on Main Street and Mayor Arthur Vigeant, the trick-or-treat activities will take place from 4:30pm to 5:30pm. This will be followed by the parade, where residents are encouraged to join in the fun by wearing their most spooktacular costumes. The Middle School Band will be leading the parade, which will start at the old fire station and travel through the downtown area.
The Horribles Parade and trick or treating in downtown Marlborough will take place on Thursday, October 26.
The annual scarecrow contest of the town will return this year. Those interested in participating can pick up a wooden frame from the Recreation Department. All scarecrows will be displayed during the Horribles Parade at Union Common. Prizes will be awarded for the three most creative entries. Decorated scarecrows need to be delivered to the Recreation Department by Friday, October 20.
Local Print shops often assist with spreading the word about such events with Posters, Flyers, and other printed materials.
Mayor Vigeant said these are family-friendly events that are a lot of fun and provide a safe environment for children to celebrate the fall season and Halloween. He added that the town is looking forward to seeing all the costumes at the parade, as well as the scarecrows that will be displayed at Union Common.Get a Free Quote for Flyers Get a Free Quote for Posters Get a Free Quote for Print
