Construction has begun on Alta French Hill in Marlborough by Wood Partners, a national multifamily real estate developer. This will be an upscale residential community.
Alta French Hill will have 276 apartment units, of which 28 will be affordable housing. There will be a wide range of floor plans that can be custom-designed. Offerings will include units with one bedroom, one-bedroom with a den, two bedrooms, and three bedrooms. There will be modern kitchen appliances, quartz kitchen countertops, a washer and dryer in each unity, and wood-style flooring.
Such planned developments often turn to brochure printing to offer more details on their features and amenities.
Alta French Hill is on Lincoln Street near the Assabet River Rail Trail and has convenient access to Interstate 495 and Route 20. Other everyday conveniences, such as Dunkin Donuts, Hannaford Supermarket, Walgreens and the Solomon Pond Mall, a major dining and shopping destination in Marlborough, and the Apex Entertainment Center, which offers 80,000 square feet of space for entertainment and games, are also close by.
The strategic location of the residential community will also offer proximity to many important employers in the area, such as TJX Companies, Raytheon, Boston Scientific, and Hologic.
Opportunities to pre-lease these homes are expected to begin next year with residents being able to move in during February 2025.
