Non-Profit Neighbors Night will be broadcast on Marlborough television later this month.
The local cable channel for the city, WMCT, will be hosting a live broadcast close to the Thanksgiving holiday to thank local non-profit organizations working in and around Marlborough and supporting the city.
Ryan Malyar, Executive Director of WMCT-TV, said that these organizations are important to the community. He added that this show will enable the station to express gratitude for their work and give these organizations a platform on the media to promote their efforts, while at the same time encouraging the community to learn more about these organizations and get more involved in them.
Malyar explained that this program will not be asking people for money, but is designed to inspire residents of the city by showcasing the projects being completed and the achievements of these organizations. In turn, people may want to support them in some fashion and help to make a difference in the community in a positive way.
Among the organizations to be featured on the show will be New Horizons at Marlborough, LLC; Boys and Girls Club of MetroWest; Sons and Daughters of Italy; and Heart Sounds US. Such organizations often turn to local Print shops to assist in creating Flyers and other printed materials about their mission and efforts.
Non-Profit Neighbors Night will be broadcast on Thursday, November 17 beginning at 6:30 pm.
