The annual Golf Tournament sponsored by the Addiction Referral Center (ARC) in Marlborough will be held later this month. This is the tenth consecutive year that this tournament is taking place.
Proceeds from the event go towards providing a caring and safe environment for people recovering addiction to drugs and alcohol. Events such as this one often benefit from poster printing to encourage participation and raise awareness about fundraising efforts.
The day will start with registration at 8:00 a.m. followed by tee time at 9:00 a.m. After the competition there will be a dinner during which several prizes will be awarded. Among the prizes award last year were the longest drive, hole-in-one, several male and female categories, and the Contender Award. Raffles will also be available for purchase for various prizes.
Current sponsors of the tournament are Tom’s Auto Body at the gold level and The Tinsley Family, Oasis Financial Services, PEAK Financial Services, Inc., and Village Subaru, among others at the bronze level. Sponsorships are also available as tee sponsors for $150 and cart sponsors for $50.
ARC holds therapeutic discussion groups at its center in Marlborough and has a 24-hour hot-line, both of which are designed to help people find new, healthy, and more meaningful lives.
The Golf Tournament will be on Friday August 16 at the Juniper Golf Course in Northborough.
