The Evviva Trattoria restaurant chain was recently purchased by the owners of the 110 Grill based in Westford.
The diner was previously known as Evviva Cucina, but its name was changed to Evviva Trattoria to better represent its Italian menu, said director of marketing for Grill 110, Alicia Puputti. Evviva has two locations – one in Westford and the other in Marlborough – so now the chain can have two brands – one that is a casual but upscale restaurant serving Italian food, and the other serving modern American cuisine in a casual but trendy atmosphere.
Director of Operations, Adam Dorey, added that now the chain is more like a group with two distinct concepts in dining that complement each other well. He said the 110 Grill is expanding rapidly, and now has 18 locations in New York, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts, with six more expected to open this year.
There are 1,500 employees at these restaurants with the expectation to hire about 100 new staff members per month as new restaurants open, ending up with between 2,600 and 3,000 employees by the end of the year. This may be a good opportunity for business card printing for some of these employees to help promote the new locations.
There are locations of the 100 Grill in Wayland, Berlin, and Marlborough, with another under construction in Wrentham.
