Input into library sought from Marlborough residents

The Marlborough Public Library is considering making some changes to its existing facility, and is seeking community input into what form this should take.

Area residents are invited to submit their input about how well they feel the current facility is meeting their needs, as well as what potential services they would like to see and what activity space they think may be needed to best serve those who make use of them. The original library was built in 1904, and was renovated due to a fire in 1967.

Printed surveys were sent out to local citizens, and those who wish to submit their response online can do so by visiting the library’s website. Anyone who wants to pick up a paper survey can do so at the library or senior centre. Those with questions can either call or email Cardello at the library for more information.

So far, two community meetings have been held at which people could have a chance to have their say, and a third will be held in early December. This feedback session will be held at the library’s Bigelow Auditorium.

While many people will be happy to submit their survey responses in an online format, there are those who would prefer to use a printed form. A printing company will be able to help design these and then produce the final printed copy.
