The Plant Sale for this year is currently being held by the Colonial Garden Club of Marlborough.
Such sales can be promoted throughout a community with the use of poster printing.
Through the combination of technology, teamwork, and the offer of great plants, the Garden Club has set up a system where customers can preorder their plants for pick-up in May. Proceeds from the sale of the plants, which are grown locally, will benefit the Garden Club, which is a non-profit organization.
Customers who would like to order plants from the Garden Club can do so by calling the President of the Club. A list of plants for sale will be sent to them and they can then pre-order their plants and schedule a date for picking up their plants. Checks and cash in the exact amount of the order will be accepted.
The mission of the Colonial Garden Club of Marlborough is to design and maintain the plants and gardens in the city, and to educate many groups throughout the community. The Club is active in bringing gardening activities and information to older adults in assisted living communities and community facilities.
Plants can be ordered through Friday, May 1. Pick-up dates are scheduled for the Saturday mornings of May 9 and May 16 from 9:00 am to noon.
