Framingham to get new arts, crafts, and home dcor shop

Hobby Lobby will be opening a new store in Shoppers World in Framingham later this year. Residents of Marlborough who are interested in arts and crafts will no doubt want to try out this new store.

Hobby Lobby will be moving into the space once occupied by Toys R Us. The space is 45,000 square feet in size and it is expected that between 35 and 50 new jobs will come to the area as a result of its opening. Both full-time and part-time positions will be available. Poster printing can be used to make such positions known to those looking for employment in the area.

Director of advertising, Kelly Black, said that the store offers a wide variety of unique merchandise in home décor and crafts markets. Black stressed that the company is excited to become part of the community of Framingham and the surrounding areas.

This store will be the sixth such location for Hobby Lobby in Massachusetts, with over 850 stores across the country. It offers over 70,00 home décor and craft items, with their products including baskets, accents for the home, fabrics, and paper crafting supplies.

Hobby Lobby has been rapidly increasing its number of stores by relocating 20 and opening 54 last year. This year, it plans to relocate another 16 and open 65 more stores.
