The 19th Paradise City Arts Festival will take place next month for three days. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Marlborough Public Schools Music Association.
There are expected to be more than 175 artisans from all over the United States on hand to showcase their items. Some of the goods on show will include fine crafts, paintings, sculptures, furniture, clothing, accessories, and jewelry. Many will also be giving demonstrations in their art. There will also be a special exhibit called ‘American Beauty: from Landscape to Dreamscape’ on display in the Sculpture Cafe.
Several artists have also been singled out for special attention as Directors' Picks; this year those highlighted are Robert C. Brand, Carolyn Morris Bach, and David Popie.
In addition to art, musical entertainment will be provided by the JD Jazz Band, The O-Tones, and the Paradise Jazz Group. Food and beverages will be available for purchase in the Sculpture Cafe.
The Marlborough festival is an important show for the artists and many of them may invest in postcard printing services to advertise that they are participating.
The Paradise City Arts Festival will be held at the Royal Plaza Trade Center from March 18 to 20. Admission is $13 for adults, $12 for seniors, and $8 for students, and a three-day pass is $16. For the latest information about this show, call 413-587-0772.
