The 3rd annual Metrofest is taking place next month in nearby Framingham. It is a presentation of the MetroWest Visitors Bureau.
Over 100 exhibitors will be on hand to sell arts and crafts, promote business, and provide information on local community groups. There will also be displays from nonprofit and cultural organizations or businesses.
Approximately two dozen local food trucks are expected to be on hand for this year’s event. There will also be musical entertainment, cultural performances, and demonstrations. Children’s activities will include bounce houses, a video game truck, and face painting.
Organizers are looking for volunteers to help with various areas of the festival. All volunteers receive a T-shirt, pizza, and free entry, and they must be aged 15 or over.
Sponsorships are also available for $1,000 to $10,000. Sponsors will be recognized in advertising and at the event.
This popular event attracts around 8,000 visitors from all over the area, including Marlborough. Flyers and Posters may be distributed to help market the festival.
Metrofest will be held at the Bowditch Athletic and Cultural Complex in Framingham on June 25 from 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Admission is $7 for adults and $3 for children between the ages of 5 and 12.
