Overland Park venue plans Halloween fun
A venue that offers families the opportunity to learn about life on the farm will be hosting some spooktacular Halloween celebrations, and these evening events will be for all ages.
Overland Park, Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead will offer lots of thrills and chills at its Night of the Living Farm event, and kids are welcome to wear a costume if they wish. There will be specially themed activities taking place in honor of the season, and the fun will be on offer on two weekends this fall.
The Farmstead will be lit up for these special evenings, and the kids can visit with their favorite superheroes and take on the obstacle course. Pirate ship racing, hayrides, a princess dance, fortune telling, storytelling and a flashlight scavenger hunt have all been planned, and a DJ-led dance party is also in the works. A mad scientist will be demonstrating different experiments, and a marshmallow roast will cap off the experience. There will also be food available on site.
An event held outdoors may call for the services of a banner printing company for decor that can withstand being out in the weather.
Night of the Living Farm will bring fun for the whole family to Overland Park on October 18th and 19th, as well as on October 25th and 26th. Admission is $15.00 per person.
