Overland Park plans event for local beer lovers
An event that will combine beer and botany will soon be on offer in Overland Park, and it will celebrate the season with some special activities.
Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens will soon be welcoming beer lovers as well as those who just enjoy viewing colorful fall foliage. All of the funds raised during this celebration for those age 21 and up will be used by Friends of the Arboretum for a variety of projects.
Those who purchase a ticket for the occasion will be able to sample sips of hundreds of beers, and many will be sourced from local craft breweries. Anyone who would prefer hard seltzer, water or a cocktail will find these on offer as well. Small bites will also be on the menu at at least four food trucks, and while they enjoy the festivities, the guests will be surrounded by the colorful fall foliage.
Both VIP and general admission tickets are on offer, and their price starts at $55.00. Those who opt for the VIP pass will be granted early entry, and they will also receive a Brewfest shirt and other corporate gifts.
