As the Overland Park area heads into another harvest season, one of its venues will be playing host to an event that will celebrate a popular autumn crop.
The AdventHealth Apple Festival will be a fun way for families to welcome fall, and its three-hour schedule is filled with activities. The music will be supplied by Mix 93.3.
The plans for the afternoon will see families treated to samples of apple cider and donuts supplied by Louisburg Cider Mill, and there will be face painters and balloon artists on hand. The kids can get a temporary tattoo, and the youngest guests can have fun in the toddler area. A petting zoo and bounce houses will be on site, and everyone can enjoy the applesauce pouches and juice. Additional food will be available for purchase from CoCo Loco Grill and Kc Whip and Company.
Along with the rest of the excitement of the occasion, the function will feature a touch-a-truck area. Banner printing and other marketing services for a community gathering may be sourced from a local printer.
AdventHealth South Overland Park will be celebrating the apple harvest season with this special event planned for Sunday, September 7. It will be on offer at 951 W 1650th Street. As it will take place outdoors, the event may need to be cancelled if the weather is bad.
