Overland Park venue organizes fall fun

As Overland Park heads into another harvest season, one of its venues will be welcoming families for fall fun.

Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead offers families an opportunity to learn about agriculture in a relaxed and casual setting, and its Pumpkin Hollow program will be on offer throughout the month of October. Admission is $10.00 for those age 3 and up, while those younger will be charged at $5.00, there will be plenty to see and do.

When they arrive at the venue, ticket holders will be invited to hop aboard for a horse-drawn hayride that will ferry them to Pumpkin Hollow. Here, they will find a giant hay pyramid to climb, as well as a spider web maze, a pedal car track, and an oversized slide. These are all included in the admission price, and there will also be games and the chance to pick a pumpkin to take home.

Many venues choose to host outdoor events during the autumn months. Weather resistant signage and decor can be readily prepared by a banner printing company, which can offer both single use and reusable styles.

The team at Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead will welcome families for its Pumpkin Hollow program from October 1 until October 26. Anyone interested in visiting can learn more by checking out the details on the organization’s website.
