Overland Park soiree celebrates female friendship
Overland Park’s leading ladies will be grabbing their best female friends together and heading to a local event space for a Galentine’s evening.
Strang Reserve, which is a venue in the community's downtown, will be rolling out the red carpet for its Galentine’s: A Bestie’s Night Out event. It will offer three hours of fun and celebrating the connection between women, and admission to the soiree is $20.
The guests at the gathering will be able to make and take their own miniature floral bouquet, and a candy bar will satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth. The guests can snap some fun pictures in the photo station, and a caricature artist will be on hand as well. A DJ will be keeping the crowd on its feet dancing, and a cash bar will be set up.
To thank guests for helping to make the event fun, everyone will go home with an exclusive friendship bracelet with a special Overland Park design. Corporate gifts for a function can be ordered from area print shops.
This celebration will be opening its doors at 5:00 pm on Thursday, February 6. It is for those age 21 and up only, and there is parking available on site. Tickets will not be made available at the door and must be reserved in advance.
