Newest Marianos opens its doors in Orland Park

A new business has opened its doors in Orland Park, and shoppers are invited to find out for themselves all that this upscale supermarket has to offer.

To help celebrate the grand opening of Mariano’s, which covers an area of 73,000 square feet and has brought 425 new jobs into the area, the parent company’s Roundy’s Foundation made contributions to two local not-for-profits. The Bridge Teen Center and the Orland Township Food Pantry were each given a donation.

Those who came into the supermarket had plenty of offerings to choose from. Every day, there were Italian sausages freshly made in house, a fully serviced wine bar, freshly prepared juices, newly caught oysters, and there were even ribs and brisket that are smoked each day.

Customers could purchase a premium Vero coffee to enjoy while they browsed through he isles or picked up a quick, prepared lunch. Those who were just buying a few things could pay for their purchases at the individual stations without having to wait in checkout lines. It also has an in-store pharmacy.

In a large supermarket such as this, Banners can be hung to help shoppers find what they are looking for.

This latest addition to the Orland Park retail community is open from 6:00 am until 10:00 pm seven days a week. It is one of 50 that are planned for the Chicagoland area.
