The Orland Park Area Chamber of Commerce (OPACC) are presenting the Fine Art Fair 2012 at Orland Park Shopping Center from July 21 - 22 from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm each day. Admission is free.
In addition to displaying and selling fine art, the fair will feature free musical entertainment, dance, and children's activities. It will be a day that the whole family can enjoy. There is also an ongoing contest to design the 2012 commemorative T-shirt for the event, where artists of any age are invited to submit their design to be considered. The artwork must be 12 x 12 and can be created in any media, with submissions required by the deadline of June 20. The winning entry will be chosen by the OPACC Fine Art Fair Committee.
Artists can rent a 10 x 10 space to display and sell their art works and the space costs $100 for Chamber members and $125 for non-members. Orland Park printing companies can help those artists prepare for the fair by providing banner printing, poster printing, or any other printed material which will draw attention to the artist and his or her booth. The type of media expected to be displayed and sold at the Fine Art Fair will include paintings, jewelry, prints, pottery, and calligraphy. Sponsorships are also available from $100 - $500 and sponsors will be named on Signs, listed on the official t-shirt, and listed at the Chamber of Commerce's information booth.
This event is a great opportunity for those both in and out of the Chamber to showcase their art.
