Colorful expo to highlight popular brand

A convention celebrating creativity and playfulness will take place in late January over the course of a few days. The event is sure to entertain Orland Park residents.

Brick Fest Live is an experience where fans of all ages and professional builders can gather to celebrate the Lego brand, as well as discover new ideas and techniques. Many creators also bring finished pieces to the event of various themes, sizes, and colors. Cosplayers and personalities from the hit show Lego Masters may also be in attendance.

Kids will have plenty to get excited about too. Several activities will be set up where children can let their imagination flourish, including a Minecraft-themed collaborative display, a graffiti-style wall where they can add their own signature, a massive pit of bricks, Lego car races, a mural being built by attendees on the floor, a gallery where mosaic art can be put up, and an area where the bricks glow when placed beneath a blacklight.

Tickets range from $19.99 to $24.99. A VIP bundle costs $39.99 and contains a ticket, laminate with the show’s Logo Design, an exclusive building set, and a special pin. These can be purchased through the ticketing service Universe.

There are timed entries attached to the tickets, put in place to better control crowd flow. These times go from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, with entries spaced about every hour to hour and a half. These times apply to both days of the event, which are January 21 and January 22. The venue is the Tinley Park Convention Center.
