Organization guru to visit Deerfield

Deerfield residents will have an opportunity to meet Lisa Woodruff, the author of Organization is a Learnable Skill, at a book signing happening in the village next month. Fans of her current and past Books are asked to purchase their tickets in advance.

As the CEO of Organize 365, Woodruff has a background in teaching, and is often described as a professional organizer, productivity expert, and entrepreneur. She is the author of several books, including Organization is a Learnable Skill, The Paper Solution, How ADHD Affects Home Organization, and The Mindset of Organization. Her series of books helps women pursue their best lives, by first organizing their homes and their busy schedules.

Only 100 tickets will be sold for the book signing, with standard tickets including a copy of Organization is a Learnable Skill for $12 each. Attendees will also have the option to purchase several add-ons, including a complete set of Woodruff’s other three books for an additional $33, and a zippered navy fleece Organize 365 sweater for $36.

Tickets will be sold in 15-minute increments, allowing for each attendee to spend approximately 60-90 seconds with the author. Woodruff will sign each person’s copy of Organization is a Learnable Skill, and each fan will receive a signed photo during the event. Ticket holders who purchased a full set of Woodruff’s books will receive theirs when they arrive at the signing. Woodruff will not sign all the additional books in person. Printing services may be used to provide special signature book plates that may be added to the books after the event.

The signing will be held on Monday, July 12, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Embassy Suites North Shore Deerfield, in the Lake Forest Meeting Room. Tickets are available on Eventbrite.
