Deerfield pottery class to showcase flower-themed crafts

Next month, the Jewett Park Community Center will hold the Adult/Tot Flowerpots for Tots Workshop in Deerfield for any families and their young children interested in learning how to make their own flowerpots.

The Deerfield Park District oversees the Jewett Park Community Center and holds the mission of providing the Deerfield community with outstanding parks, recreational services, and facilities, all of which are intended to help community members live their best lives. One of these services includes organizing and hosting special events and workshops, such as the art workshop happening in May.

The Adult/Tot Flowerpots for Tots Workshop will invite parents and their toddlers to participate in a pottery workshop where they will be making their very own flowerpots. Experienced art instructors will lead attendees through how to sculpt, build, decorate, and glaze pots to house flowers in. No experience is necessary to participate in the workshop. The class is designed for children aged 3 to 5 years old.

Organizers interested in advertising for art workshops like this may decide to go down the path of flyer advertising, which local Print shops offering flyer printing services can help with.

The Adult/Tot Flowerpots for Tots Workshop is scheduled for May 2 from 10:00 am to 11:30 am. The Jewett Park Community Center is located at 836 Jewett Park Drive, Deerfield. Tickets range from $50 to $63 per person.
