Associates in Psychotherapy in Deerfield will host the AI and Mental Health Seminar next month for mental health professionals interested in learning about the ramifications of artificial intelligence on mental health.
Associates in Psychotherapy is a multidisciplinary office of clinicians that offer high-quality, empirically proven, and affordable mental health treatment to people across the Chicagoland area. The seminar taking place next month will be led by Alicia Rogers-Bridge, LCSW, who specializes in working with individuals with chronic suicidality, especially pre-teens. In her work with young people, she has seen the importance of studying the mental health effects of AI, particularly chatbots.
The objective of her presentation will be to first discuss the common uses of AI chatbots and explain how large language models (LLMs) work. Then she will highlight the potential mental health risks and benefits of AI, plus ethical concerns. The presentation will end with a discussion on how to talk with clients about the use of LLMs.
Educational seminars like this may include printed study materials in the form of Booklets or Brochures that participants can use during the training. Local Print shops with brochure printing and similar services may appeal to organizers needing to produce these materials in bulk.
The AI and Mental Health Seminar is slated for Friday, February 20 from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm. It will be held at 707 Lake Cook Road, Deerfield. Get a Free Quote for Booklets Get a Free Quote for Brochures Get a Free Quote for Print
