This March, the DBR Chamber of Commerce will hold the Seen. Heard. Remembered: A Women in Business Experience event for Deerfield women interested in honing their professional skillsets.
The Business Experience event is not a networking event but rather is a skill-building event for professional women interested in learning how to strengthen their presence in their respective field or industry. As the title implies, Seen. Heard. Remembered. will delve into how women can effectively communicate their value and stay grounded in times of stress or pressure.
The event will include three focused sessions that will explore how physical presence can affect perception, how to effectively communicate one’s work, how to utilize authenticity and values as professional strengths, and how to use simple techniques to manage stressful situations. After the sessions, there will be a guided grounded reset. The speaker lineup has yet to be announced. Once Upon a Bagel will provide bagels and coffee for attendees.
Professional skill-building events like this, while not focused on networking activities, still may be an opportunity for attendees to hand out Business Cards to people that they connect with.
The skill-building event is scheduled to take place on Friday, March 20 from 9:00 pm to 11:30 pm. It will be held at the DBR Chamber of Commerce, located at 570 Lake Cook Road, Deerfield. Ticket prices will vary according to membership level.
