Next month, Hope for the Silent Voices (HFSV) nonprofit will host its 4th Annual Future of Hope Fundraiser: Chicago edition in Deerfield to raise awareness of human trafficking and child exploitation.
HFSV is a nonprofit organization founded and based in Deerfield but has international mission to provide services and resources to vulnerable women and children around the globe who are victims of exploitation, human trafficking, and extreme poverty. The fundraising event in October will provide attendees with a first-hand look at the work that HFSV is currently doing in Cambodia and will share information about how guests can get involved.
The event will feature dancing and a live band called Not For Profit, as well as heavy hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine, and soft drinks as refreshments. There will also be a silent auction for prizes such as restaurant gift cards, hotel stays, salon and spa treatments, and even a week’s vacation in Maine.
The Future of Hope Fundraiser is slated for November 13, from 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm. The venue will be Embassy Suites North Shore, located at 1445 Lake Cook Road, Deerfield. Individual tickets are $75, couple tickets are $130, and student tickets are $25.
