The Winter Carnival is taking place in next month, presented by the Northbrook Park District.
The carnival is set to feature both indoor and outdoor activities that will be suitable for the entire family, such as golf-related games, holiday bingo tournaments, and family games. Outdoors, there will be horse-drawn trolley rides, sled dog demonstrations, snowshoeing activities, ice sculpting displays, and various winter demonstrations. Visitors can also bring their own ice skates to go skating. In addition, there will be a bonfire and s’mores to enjoy.
Organizers are still seeking volunteers to lead activities and to help guide the public to the activities taking place.
The carnival offers a way for families to enjoy the winter weather and for parents to show their kids the types of fun that can be enjoyed at this time of year.
It is likely that many families from the area, including those from nearby Deerfield, will decide to visit the carnival. Printing companies are often hired to create Flyers and other printed advertising products to help spread the word of events such as this.
