The village of Deerfield will soon hold the Deerfield Family Days Flower Show 2022 as part of its Family Days program series.
The Family Days event series is organized and executed by the Family Days Commission, which is comprised of a board of residents. The Flower Show will invite all green thumbs, including junior gardeners, to participate in a special flower exhibition.
Participating gardeners will choose their favorite plants and flowers to enter into the show, and they must complete entry cards for each plant. Plant identification, bud vases, and staging assistance will be provided for show exhibitors. The categories to enter include annuals, perennials, biennials, roses, summer bulbs, day lilies, cacti, succulents, flowering shrubs, vegetables, fruit, and many others. The entries will be judged by certified garden show judges of the Gardeners of the North Shore.
Exhibitions that require staging assistance often make use of printed decorations such as Banners. Appropriately designed banners can easily and affordably be printed at local businesses specializing in banner printing.
The Deerfield Family Days Flower Show 2022 is scheduled to take place on Monday, July 4. Entries will need to be dropped off from 8:00 am to 10:00 am, with the actual show taking place from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. The Jewett Park Pavilion on 836 Jewett Park Drive will be the hosting venue.
