Anyone in Deerfield interested in getting their antiques, trinkets, or other items appraised and possibly purchased should note that the Deerfield Roadshow Buying Event will take place next month.
The Deerfield Roadshow will be a free, five-day event that will bring expert appraisers onsite to evaluate precious metals, jewelry, coins, collectibles, knives, and more. This event is designed to allow people the opportunity to unload any unwanted items from their attics or basements, while also possibly getting paid a fair sum for their treasures.
There will not be an obligation to sell, so attendees are welcome to take their antiques and other items simply to discover the value of them. Collectors and appraisers at the event are looking for items such as gold rings, silver jewelry, costume jewelry, gold coins, commemorative coins, tea sets, vintage metal toys, sports collectibles, pocketknives, timepieces, sterling flatware, and comics. Specific coins the roadshow buys include silver dollars, Morgan dollars, Roosevelt dollars, Buffalo nickels, and Kennedy half dollars.
Roadshow appraisers may give out Brochures to attendees to educate them on certain items, and these brochures can be printed using Print shops specializing in brochure printing.
The roadshow is scheduled for April 11 through April 15. It will take place at Courtyard by Marriott Chicago Deerfield, which is located at 800 Lake Cook Road.
