In Deerfield next month Utility 2030 Collaborative will hold the Future Thinking Masterclass: The Future of Utility Service.
Utility 2030 Collaborative is a community of utility professionals that work to enact meaningful transformation efforts in utility services and programs. The member body is made up of professionals from cooperatives, municipalities, and investor-owned utilities. The U2030 brings together experts from utility companies, their partners, and service providers to harness their collective knowledge for the betterment of the utility service field and the consumers it serves.
The Future Thinking Masterclass delves into principles proclaimed by the Institute of the Future (IFTF). These principles involve an ideology called Futures Thinking, which is a systematic planning approach that helps individuals and organizations access the tools and methods necessary to respond to uncertain future events. The class will prepare participants to turn away from short-term thinking and embrace long-term planning for future events relevant to utility services.
Professional classes such as this may include detailed Brochures to give out to attendees. Local Print shops specializing in brochure printing can be a real help to organizers wishing to prepare such materials.
The Future Thinking Masterclass will be held on June 4 and June 5. It will take place at the Oracle Innovation Lab, located at 1405 Lake Cook Road, Deerfield. Members get in free, and non-members can purchase tickets for $549.
