Those in Deerfield interested in becoming members of the Toastmasters Club should note that the Deerbrook Park Toastmasters will be holding their next meeting in August and invite interested individuals to come and hear what the organization is all about.
The Deerbrook Park Toastmasters Club serves the areas of Deerfield, Highland Park, Bannockburn, Riverwoods, and Northbrook. It is a part of the Toastmasters International, which is a nonprofit educational organization that upholds the mission to aid its members in building their communication skills, self-confidence, and public speaking skills.
Guests are invited to the next meeting of the Deerbrook Park Toastmasters to see firsthand what the club offers its members. Attendees will learn how to improve their leadership and communication skills, which can include speaking in front of small groups and teams, as well presenting in front of larger audiences. The meeting will also shed light on how the organization works and what members can expect from membership.
Professional organization meetings often include networking activities, which can take the form of exchanging Business Cards and similar activities.
The Deerbrook Park Toastmasters meeting will take place on Wednesday, August 6, beginning at 6:45 pm. It will be held at the Deerfield Public Library, which is at 920 Waukegan Road. There will also be a Zoom option for those who cannot attend in person.
