KGH Autism Services, the SPARK Team, and the AARTS Center at Rush will host the Autism Research and Holiday Party next month in Deerfield to help support individuals with autism and their families.
KGH is a center that offers results-driven therapy and services to individuals on the autism spectrum. The AARTS Center provides clinical services to those with autism and seeks to improve the quality of life of these individuals through collaborative research projects.
SPARK is a community of individuals with autism, their families, and autism researchers that all collaborate on the largest genetic study of autism that currently exists.
The Deerfield holiday party will benefit the SPARK research project by inviting attendees on the autism spectrum to register for SPARK, get support, and help the research project advance. Study enrollment will only take around 30 minutes. Afterwards, attendees will get to enjoy plenty of family-friendly and sensory-friendly holiday activities, such as meeting Santa, holiday crafts, games, and sweet treats.
