The Deerfield Park District will host three trips as part of its School's Out event series in November.
Students will first go to Buffalo Grove's Bowlero at 350 McHenry Road., where there will be bowling, arcade games, and laser tag. Lunch will be provided.
Later in the month, students will head to Urban Air Adventure Park. Along with several trampolines, the park has a challenging obstacle course and balance beams. Lunch will be provided also on this trip. Urban Air is located at 140 East Lake Street in Bloomingdale.
Finally, students will go to SciTech Museum and peruse more than 200 exhibits with a science, technology, engineering, art, and/or mathematics theme. All exhibits are interactive, and on this occasion students need to bring a lunch and drink to the museum. The SciTech Hands On Museum is located at 18 West Benton Street in Aurora.
School's Out is a series of events for students from K-5 where they take a trip outside of the school system. The staff of the after-school club organizes the trips. Participants will meet at the Jewett Park Community Center at 836 Jewett Park Drive. There are 40 spaces available per trip.
The trip to Bowlero is on November 11, students head to Urban Air on November 24, and the date for the SciTech Museum is November 25. All three trips start at 9:30 am and end at 3:30 pm.
When schools organize trips like these, Print shops can help them out by providing permission slips and other important documentation.
