Deerfield celebrates autumn Harvest with all-day festivities
Deerfield will celebrate the upcoming fall season with three special events in the same day: the Farmers’ Market, Cruise into Harvest Fest Car Show, and Harvest Fest.
The fun-filled day will begin with the Deerfield Farmers’ Market at 7:00 am. This market has been operating since 1995 and offers the community access to a wide range of fresh produce, meat, eggs, and fish. In the open-air market, local vendors also sell homemade bread and pastries, bath and body products, and pet treats and supplies.
The Cruise into Harvest Fest Car Show will begin in the early afternoon, showcasing classic hot rods and other vintage cars. There will also be live music from Roger That, Delta Pines, and Blooze Brothers to kick off Harvest Fest.
Harvest Fest will be the culmination of the day with continuing live music, games, and activities. There will be food and drinks available for purchase, including a beer and wine tent. The Deerfield Park District will also host a bags tournament.
All-day events will often be advertised on detailed brochures that list the activities and their times. Event organizations can visit local print shops offering brochure printing services to print these in bulk.
The Harvest Fest and related events are scheduled for Saturday, September 20, from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm. The actual festival will be held at Robert York and Park Avenue, Deerfield.
