Next week, the Association of Women Attorneys of Lake County (AWALC) will host the 2022-2023 AWALC Board Installation Dinner in Highland Park, just a short distance from Deerfield.
The AWALC is an organization of women lawyers in Lake County whose mission is to promote the law profession, enrich the professional education of its members, and provide socializing opportunities for them. The installation dinner in May will introduce the new board members of the organization and provide networking opportunities for those attending.
The new members filling the positions on the Board of Directors are Joy Gossman, Greta Berna, Lisle Stalter, Megan Brady, Jeremy Spitzer, Pam Kuzniar, Shyama Parikh, Donna Jo Maki, and Sharmila Manak. There will also be guest speaker Loari Edison, an attorney and life coach certified by International Coach Federation, Institute for Social and Emotional Intelligence, and Coach Training EDU. During her talk, Edison will discuss how people can become take charge of their lives by living and growing authentically to achieve success.
Ceremonial dinner events often include elegant Invitations to special guests, and organizers of such events may choose to visit Stationery printers in their area to prepare these.
The dinner will take place next Wednesday, May 4, beginning at 5:30 pm. Bella Via Restaurant & Banquet on 1899 2nd Street in Highland Park will be the hosting venue. Tickets are $55.
