Deerfield-based Alera Group has purchased Benefit Commerce Group of Scottsdale, Arizona.
Alera Group is a national independent wealth management and insurance brokerage company.
Benefit Commerce Group is a progressive consulting firm for employee benefits. It has grown substantially in the last decade and has been an honoree four times on the American private companies growing the fastest by Inc. 5000. In addition, it has been one of the area's Best Places to Work for four years in a row and the Healthiest Employers for five years in a row.
