Many construction projects like this make use of Flyers or poster printing to keep customers informed of the changes and timeframes.
The changes to the outdoor lifestyle shopping center’s entrance off SR 54 is expected to improve traffic flow for shoppers. The Avenue’s general manager Johnathan Andrews explained:
“We strive to be the Peachtree City community’s go-to place for shopping, dining and entertainment, and a big part of that is ensuring our visitors have a stress-free and safe experience from the moment they arrive through their departure from the center.”
He went on to say that the upcoming rejigging of the entrance will, they believe, make entering and departing The Avenue area a more pleasant experience.
Among the changes will be an effort to improve efficiency at the intersection by including a displaced left turn for both north and south bound SR 74. The entrance to The Avenue Peachtree City’s Marketplace Boulevard will as a result see additional exit lanes added as well as a left turn dedicated traffic signal, thereby experiencing safety for those turning or going through the intersection.
The GDOT plans to begin the project in August with completion anticipated for early fall.
