Women in Peachtree City with a love for distance running are in for a treat this autumn, as a themed half marathon and 5K event is coming to town.
The Divas’ Peachtree City Half Marathon and 5K, which is being put together by Run Like A Diva, has opened online registration to interested individuals who want to see more of the city’s scenery while maintaining an active lifestyle this November. The organizers are designing the race as a way to empower local women while celebrating self-confidence and community.
The event is open to women who are running for fun, fitness, or to spend time with friends while trying something new. Organizers have created a course for both runs that will allow participants to fully enjoy Peachtree City’s parks, trails, and Southern charm. Flyer and poster printing offer affordable ways for promoters to reach their target audience about such events through public impressions and Mailing campaigns.
Tiaras and glitter are encouraged to ensure a glamorous experience for all. Part of the running event’s proceeds will support a local charity, giving participants extra motivation to have fun while making a difference.
The 5K and half marathon are scheduled for Saturday, November 7, starting at 7:00 am. Participants and supporters will meet at 190 McIntosh Trail in Peachtree City. Half marathon registration is $90 and 5K registration costs $50 per person online.
